Jersey has always done best when it has had the confidence to set its own course. Health is the obvious next place to do that carefully, openly and well.
Good regulation is a competitive advantage. A small jurisdiction that gets the framework right can move faster than anyone, without cutting corners.
This is not about less oversight. It is about oversight designed for the treatments and research of the next twenty years, not the last.
Ask the States to take this seriously.
“Review where Jersey could responsibly diverge from UK and EU health regulation.” This is about better regulation, not less — a formal review of where a well-governed Jersey framework could support safe, evidence-based care and research.
